CHARLES MCDOUGALL

Charles McDougall is well-known for his work in television, he directed the dramas 'Between the Lines', which won a BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 1993, 'Arriverderci Millwall' which won Best Director at the Poitiers Film Festival, 'Cracker', written by Jimmy McGovern which won a BAFTA for Best Drama Series in 1996. In 1996 he directed the highly acclaimed drama written by Jimmy McGovern 'Hillsborough' which won numerous international awards including three BAFTA's: Best Single Drama 1997, Best Sound and Best Editing, three Royal Television Society Awards and nominations for the Prix Italia, the Prix Europa and an International Emmy.

He directed the feature film 'Heart' also written by McGovern and recently directed the first four episodes in the Channel Four drama series 'Queer as Folk'.
