Gaby was an actress for twelve years before setting up her own production company Stray Dog with Atalanta Goulandris in 1993. She has produced the award-winning short film 'Valley Girls' and 'Max Klapper', a 50-minute piece by Ben Hopkins, as well as directing her first cinema commercial starring Robert Carlyle.
'Toyboys' was Gaby's first film as writer-director. It has won Best Film at the British Short Film Festival, as well as Montecatini Filmvideo 98, Orense Film Festival, and Best Short Narrative at the San Francisco Film Festival. It will be shown by the BBC later this year.
Gaby is currently attached to direct 'Single Girl's Diary' for Granada Films, is setting up her feature 'Nervous' and working with Esther Freud on a screen adaptation of 'Peerless Flats'.
