A packed carriage, filled with Christmas revelers, office workers in fancy dress and clubbers' attention is drawn to an attractive, well-groomed woman as she enters the compartment. She becomes the focus of a number of individual fantasies but doesn't quite live up to their individual expectations when she opens her mouth........

"It's not the most polite little tale." Daniela Nardini

"I've always wanted to direct and as a producer in television you tend towards directing anyway, it seemed a natural progression. I liked the idea of diving into a bucketful of stories and seeing which one took my fancy and I tended towards the straightforward and quite vulgar." Armando Iannucci

"The project sounded fun. In London everyone travels by tube but they are so focused on getting from A to B I thought it would be interesting to focus on some of the things that happen underground, but as a performer I think I've got the duff deal as I had to do such unpleasant things...Her role is surprising as you don't expect her to be the cause of such havoc". Daniela Nardini

"I wanted the worst set of characters that you could hope to be stuck in a train with, so it seems a blessed release when our heroine comes on, but then she goes and spoils it all." Armando Iannucci

"The music was really important to me as I'm a frustrated musician and music in cinema works really well. I really liked the idea of a grand piece of classical music playing alongside this rather stupid scenario. The music suggested elements of the action." Armando Iannucci

"This piece is about people's reactions, how things happen on the tube and people look away. It's a surprisingly inhuman environment." Daniela Nardini
