BOB HOSKINS

During the course of an illustrious and diverse career, Bob Hoskins has appeared in countless feature films, television programmes and stage plays in addition to writing, directing and producing. He was awarded Best Actor at the European Film Awards in 1997 for his starring role in Shane Meadows' 'TwentyFourSeven'. His recent feature film credits include 'Felicia's Journey', 'Cousin Bette', and 'The Secret Agent'. Other credits include 'Nixon', 'Mermaids', 'Hook', 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit', 'The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne' and 'The Long Good Friday'. Bob Hoskins directed and appeared in the 'Rainbow' and 'The Raggedy Rawney' for which he also wrote the screenplay.

Bob was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in 'Mona Lisa', and was awarded the NY Critics' Circle, a Golden Globe and the Cannes Film Festival Best Actor awards.

His numerous television appearances include 'Pennies from Heaven' for which he was nominated for the Best Actor BAFTA. His stage appearances include 'King Lear', 'Pygmalion' and 'Guys and Dolls'.

He recently finished shooting 'The White River Kid' in the USA and a cameo in Shane Meadows' 'A Room for Romeo Brass'.
