MENHAJ HUDA (HUDS)

Originally from Bangladesh, Menhaj Huda settled in Britain at the age of seven. After graduating from Oxford, he began his career in TV and in 1991 he set up Dancing Fleas Productions, making music promos and directing commercials and TV programmes.

Now known mainly as a commercials director, Huds has also directed the TV series 'Flava', 'Moviewatch', 'Passengers' and most recently 'All Back To Mine'. He made his film debut with the 11 minute drama 'Jump Boy', executive produced by Uberto Pasolini ('The Full Monty') and written by Harsha Patel ,who also wrote GRASSHOPPER. In 1998 he made a three minute short, 'Raj or Radge' as one of five directors invited to make the first 'Spotlights Films' for the '98 Edinburgh Film Festival.
