Kelly Macdonald was born in Glasgow. She was chosen from an open audition to play Diane in Danny Boyle's film 'Trainspotting'. Her film work since has included the lead role of Stella in 'Stella Does Tricks', Hortense in 'Cousin Bette', Elspeth in 'My Life so Far', directed by Hugh Hudson, Isobel Knollys in 'Elizabeth', Susan in Mike Figgis' 'The Loss of Sexual Innocence', Mike in 'Splendour', and Pia in 'Entropy'. She recently filming the leading role of Linda in the British comedy 'House', and Mary in 'Two Family House'.
On stage, Kelly played Donna in the Old Vic production of 'Hurlyburly', and for radio she recently recorded Mary in 'Life House'.
JASON FLEMYNG
After training at LAMDA, Flemyng's first role was in the RSC production of 'Coriolanus', which he followed with John Schlesinger's BBC production 'A Question of Attribution'. He has appeared in numerous RSC productions including 'Barbarians', and 'All's Well That Ends Well'.
On television he has featured in Danny Boyle's 'For the Greater Good', 'Bye Bye Baby', 'Beck' and 'The Double'. On film he has starred in 'The Jungle Book', 'Rob Roy', 'Stealing Beauty', 'The Hollow Reed', 'Alive and Kicking', 'The James Gang', 'Deep Rising', 'The Life of Stuff', 'The Red Violin' and 'Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels'.
DEXTER FLETCHER
Fletcher is a well-known star of film, stage, screen and radio. On stage he appeared in the opera 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' at both Glyndebourne and Sadler's Wells. At the RSC he featured in 'The Merry Wives of Windsor', 'Henry V', 'Hamlet' and 'Peter Pan' among others.
He made his film debut in Alan Parker's 'Bugsy Malone' which was followed by 'The Long Good Friday' and 'The Elephant Man', directed by David Lynch. His other film credits include 'Caravaggio', directed by Derek Jarman, 'Revolution', 'Gothic', 'The Raggedy Rawney' directed by Bob Hoskins, 'Jude', 'Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels' and he will next be seen in Mike Leigh's 'Topsy Turvy'.
